The sources for the following stories come from an inherited set of pdf files. Thanks go out to to Neil L. for them! One book (#7) was missing and had to be pieced together from an Internet source. All provided files have been checked for obvious errors and typos, plus some missing punctuations have been fixed. Otherwise they appear as in the original books. As mentioned above most of these files are attributed to U.S. editions. however they exhibit all the earmarks of being unchanged from the British versions. Please understand that the spelling differences (tyres vs. tires, licence vs. license, etc.) are directly from the scanned originals and are not mistakes. The covers are taken from various sources including the pdf files and from the Internet. In every case, a fair amount of work was necessary to make them as presentable as possible. This is especially true with one for which I was only able to locate low-quality, small artwork and had to go through a process of enlarge/fix/enlarge/fix/enlarge until I had something that can work as both a screen-quality image as well as one capable of being used in the printing industry. This was done with varying success. ALL 43 (PUBLISHED) BOOKS POSTED FROM ORIGINAL SERIES -- See below for CRIMBUSTERS FOLLOW ON SERIES |

This marks the end of illustrations in the series. Only the business card for the trio continues to appear in the books after this. Also, a new cover element appears featuring the profile of Hitchcock. |

Book 31: The Scar-faced Beggar. With the real world death of Alfred Hitchcock on Arpil 29, 1980, it was decided the boys needed a new mentor, and so enter mystery writer Hector Sebastian! The sillouette of Hitchcock in the upper right on the covers was also replaced with a skeleton keyhole. |

THAT'S THE ORIGINAL SERIES… (Except…) Book 44 (never published) Okay. If there was never a book 44, then what is the cover to the right? Aren't covers created once the text is finished and ready to be printed? Well, generally the answer is "Yes," however a curious fan by the name of Daniel Storm commissioned artist Robert Adragna—the final artist for the series—to see what he might have come up with given only the title. And, because no fgood series should go unfinished, the author, Hector Sebastian (the boys' mentor after the death of Alfred Hitchcock) assisted them in getting their notes into a publishable order. This had to happen because the original author, Mary V. Carey, dies in 1994 after having her original manuscript rejected and the series ended. Hector Sebastian can't allow a good story to go unwritten and so this year he worked with the three boys to put the story of The Mystery of The Ghost Train together. It is being provided only to this Tom Swift group and as both a downloadable Kindle edition as well as a formatted .PDF file. RIGHT-CLICK and select Download Linked File
