Every family has its holiday traditions. For us, it’s TheHudsons Annual Holiday Party (sometimes dubbed the Eggnog and Feeding Fest).
Our ornament tree is also part of the tradition. Probably some 13 years ago, Stanley, the adolescent boy-Cocker-Spaniel made the logical canine conclusion that where there’s a tree, there’s territory to be marked. We figured this out from the damp packages.
Patty asked Tom to come up with something that:
1) Would display the ornaments,
2) Didn’t drop pine needles, and
3) Was boy-dog proof.
Thus a new Hudson tradition was born.
