Wonderful day with Diane in Oakland and San Francisco. It started with breakfast at Aunt Mary’s Cafe, where we both had one of the specials – saffron rice waffle with curried vegetables – delish! Next we saw the Balenciaga in Spain exhibit at the De Young museum. Okay, but the lighting was too dark to really see and enjoy the fashions. The last stop was the Legion of Honor and Pulp Fashion: The Art of Isabelle de Borchgrave. Excellent. Very interesting fashions made of paper. Amazing art. It was a great day with a good friend.
