The first weekend in May since 2010, Patty has headed down to San Jose to attend Rites of Spring—an Apple reunion, of sorts. The second purpose of the trips is to deliver a pineapple upside down cake (PUD) to Bill Brown, a birthday cake tradition that began sometime in the late eighties.
