May 2007 found us heading back to Scotland.
While the planned itinerary was to arrive Glasgow (via Chicago), head to Aberdeen for two days, followed by four days in Edinburgh and the last three days on Islay before departing from Glasgow, an extended weather delay had us spending the night in Chicago’s O’Hare Airport before being rescued for the day by friends Patti Ferguson and Joanna Denis.
We spent our first night in Scotland in Glasgow (instead of the planned Stonehaven after arriving about 48 hours late) where we stayed at the Quality Inn at the Glasgow Central train station.
